A couple of days ago a cyclst went full speed into the read of my 250 breaking the plastic piece, the one that holds the inner parts of the taillights. My question is if this is worth saving it or should I try to find one to replace it?

I think you should just replace the plastic frame, its not meant to be structural anyway, and once it's cracked, good luck getting the taillight housing to sit right without rattling or letting in water, check salvage yards or eBay, you'll probably find one cheap enough

Well its usually better to replace it especially if it affects alignment or stability. You can try to repair it with epoxy or plastic weld, but for longterm reliability and your safety, finding a replacement is the best move

Replace it... If you feel like you need to replace it, well yeah you probably do. It might be hard to save it since it's plastic? I don't think there's much you can do about it honestly.

@LeeY0h I agree. The moment it gets cracked and starts to mess with taillight fitment, it's more hassle than it's worth to fix. Honestly, I think it's better to grab a used one and not worry about it again.
