Stud advice for IS500

Threw on some fresh 19 in. wheels on my 2022 Lexus IS500 but needed spacers to clear the brake calipers. What's the best move for extended studs? Are the Motorsports grade studs worth the price or should I stick with something more basic?

Nice setup! If you're running spacers, extended studs are a smart move. Motorsport-grade ones like ARP are worth it if you drive hard or plan to keep the spacers long-term — they're stronger and hold up better. If it's just for street use, good quality basics can work too. What spacer size are you running?

Thanks. I went with 15mm spacers all around. You're right, no sense in cutting corners on something this important, so the motorsport-grade studs it is.

Doesn't the IS500 use bolts, or you went and upgraded the whole assembly and went with studs? Anyways, don't cheap out and get a high quality, it holds your wheels to the hub, so you don't want to see your wheel overtake you on the highway. BTW, how's the rubbing?

The IS500 comes with wheel studs from the factory, so my project was swapping the shorter OEM units for longer motorsport-grade studs. This installation has already been completed. With the 15mm spacers, there are no rubbing issues at all.
